About two weeks ago we started thinking about our Canada Day plans. Since Mother Nature has a habit of raining on Canada Day, I checked the forecast. My enthusiasm immediately waned.
Rain.
But, not just rain. Thunderstorms. All day. Who needs fireworks when you have the nature’s version? Of course, I usually don’t really trust the weather forecast until the day of, but as the days rolled forward, the forecast didn’t move.
That, a last-minute, short-deadline project at work, and a pre-planned camping trip thrown into the middle of it, put a damper on my enthusiasm for creating a Canada Day bracelet. I finally pulled one together last night when it looked like the rain was only going to start in the afternoon.
This morning I woke up to the soft sound of rain hitting our roof.
